Main program window is specialized spreadsheet to work with precious metals scrap. You can calculate a purchasing or selling operation. These are two main operations that you will perform every day. To begin, start input your data in corresponding grid cells. To clear old data select "New" from program menu. |

You have to provide price information prior to doing any calculations. |

The whole row will be highlited as uncomplete until all required information will be entered. |

The column "Metal" has special menu with the list of precious metals. The rule "click and select" helps you save a lot of time. |

Each entered data can be edited and supports standard operations with clipboard. |

The "Karat" column allows you to select predefined purity of gold. In case if you select Karat information for another metal than gold column "Metal" will changes to "gold" automatically. |

If you do not like automatically calculated price you may change it any time. Automatic price is calculated by software based on provided metal price, metal type, weight and karat in case with gold. |

Each metal type highlights in its own color. It helps to find what you are looking for. All data can be sorted by any column as well. |

You have to specify the content of pure gold in metal depending on its karat value before doing any calculations. |

Application computes gold, platinum, silver and sterling silver, and gives weight and price information in troy pounds, troy ounces, pennyweights (DWT), kilograms, grams, milligrams and grains. |
